Due to the CrossFit Open validations being run on Fridays from 3:30pm in the box, the Friday Kids Sessions will be cancelled for the next 5 weeks, however the Tuesday Kids session will run as per normal. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have concerns please talk to Marie.
We encourage the kids to continue to work some skills/WOD over this time. Some suggestions- Squats/OH Squats/Pistols, 6 sec count burpees, Push-ups, L-Sits, Handstands/Holds, Drop Jumps (Box Jumps), Double-unders (Skipping), 10m shuttle runs. Pick 1 favourite and one least favourite movement.
WOD:Friday
Complete 5 rounds (10 minutes) of:
1st Minute: ‘X’ reps of favourite movement
2nd Minute: ‘X’ reps of least favourite movement
The ‘X’ reps to be worked out on your first round with approx 30seconds of work- this will become your Target number and your goal is to maintain the reps and standard for the rest of the workout. Alternate between the 2 movements for a total of 10 minutes. Ask your parents if you need help. Email your chosen movements and target numbers through to Marie and Steve (info@coastalcrossfit.com.au) and dob on anyone who doesn’t do their best with movement standards.
